Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Who we are

This website is operated by a private company limited by shares incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region under the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622).

Email: info@isinwheelscooter.com · Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (GMT+8), closed at weekends and on public holidays. We will respond within 24 business hours.

In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of this website; “you” means the customer. We are an authorised independent reseller and an independent cross-border retailer; we are not affiliated with or operated jointly with any other distributor or retail business.

Trader information is set out on our Legal Notice page.

2. Scope

These Terms apply to every contract for the sale of goods concluded through this website, in the version in force at the time you place your order. We do not accept differing or additional terms put forward by you unless we have agreed to them in writing.

This store sells to consumers — natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession. If you are ordering as a business, say so before ordering; the consumer-specific provisions below (in particular the right of withdrawal) do not apply to business purchases.

3. How a contract is formed

  1. Product listings on this website are an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
  2. By clicking the order button at the end of checkout you make a binding offer to buy the goods in your basket.
  3. We send an automatic acknowledgement confirming that your order has reached us. This acknowledgement is not yet an acceptance.
  4. A contract comes into being when we send you a shipping confirmation, or when we dispatch the goods, whichever happens first.
  5. If we cannot supply an item — for example because it is no longer in stock — we will tell you without delay and refund any payment for that item in full.

Before you confirm your order you can review and correct your entries using your browser and the checkout's own editing functions. The contract text is not stored by us in a separately accessible form; please keep the confirmation emails we send you. The contract may be concluded in English or in any other language in which this website is displayed to you.

4. Prices and promotions

Prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include VAT at the applicable rate. The total payable, including any delivery charge, is shown before you confirm your order. No charge is added by us after you have paid; for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, import VAT and customs clearance charges may apply on delivery.

Where a product is offered at a reduced price, any “was” price shown is the lowest price we applied during the 30 days before the reduction, in line with Article 6a of Directive 98/6/EC.

Our Buy 2, save 10% offer applies automatically when your basket contains two or more items. It cannot be combined with other order-level discounts. We may withdraw or change promotional offers at any time for future orders; the terms shown at the moment you order are the ones that apply to you.

Delivery is free for e-scooters, e-bikes and any item from €200, and €9.90 or €14.90 per order for other items depending on the country, to the countries listed on our Shipping & Delivery Policy page. Any surcharge for overweight items, remote areas or islands is shown at checkout before payment.

5. Payment

Payment is taken when you place your order. The payment methods available to you are shown in full at checkout. See our Payment Methods page. We never store your full card number.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping & Delivery Policy page, from our European warehouse. E-scooters, e-bikes, spare parts and accessories arrive in 2–5 working days. We will deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, unless another period has been agreed with you.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or a carrier you chose yourself, take physical possession of the goods.

7. Returns and right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods (or the last item of a multi-item order), without giving any reason and without any restocking fee. We refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision; we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods, which for e-scooters and e-bikes may be high because of their size and weight. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

You can withdraw via the Withdraw from contract link in your account or by sending us any clear statement by email. The full instructions, the deadlines, the return costs and the rules on diminished value are set out on our Returns, Refund & Cancellation Policy page, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Conformity of the goods, statutory guarantee and commercial warranty

We must deliver goods that conform to the contract. If they do not, you have the rights given to you by Directive (EU) 2019/771 as implemented in your country — in the first instance repair or replacement, and if that is impossible, fails or is not carried out within a reasonable time, a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.

The statutory guarantee period is at least two years from delivery. Nothing in these Terms shortens it, makes it conditional, or charges you for a remedy under it.

In addition we provide a free commercial warranty — 12 months on electric scooters and 24 months on electric bikes from the date the product is received, with component-level periods and exclusions described on the Warranty Policy page. The commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory consumer rights.

9. Using the products safely and legally

Every scooter we sell is supplied factory speed-limited to the speed permitted for private e-scooters in most EU countries. Rules on where you may ride, minimum age, insurance, helmets and lighting vary by country and by city. You are responsible for checking and complying with the rules that apply where you ride.

Removing or raising the speed limiter may make the vehicle unlawful on public roads and voids the commercial warranty. It does not affect your statutory guarantee in respect of defects that were already present at delivery. We do not supply instructions for derestriction.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and wherever liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

For other losses, we are liable for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or our negligence. We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, nor for business losses, since this store sells to consumers. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Intellectual property

isinwheel is a trade mark of its respective proprietor. We are an authorised independent reseller of isinwheel products and are not the manufacturer. The layout, text and original graphics of this website are protected by copyright.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms for future orders. The version in force when you place your order is the version that governs your contract.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any contract concluded through this website are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

If you are a consumer habitually resident in an EU Member State, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of consumer law that would apply in your country of residence under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I). You may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please contact our customer service first. Email info@isinwheelscooter.com — business hours Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (GMT+8), closed at weekends and on public holidays. We will respond within 24 business hours.

We are not obliged to take part in, and do not currently commit to taking part in, dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board under Directive 2013/11/EU. This does not affect your right to go to court or to seek help from the consumer authority or European Consumer Centre in your country. The European Commission's ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
