Buying your isinwheel from this store: what you get

Black and green isinwheel electric scooter fitted with a saddle, on a white background

There is a fair question behind every scooter purchase: why buy isinwheel's e-scooters and e-bikes from this store, shipped from our EU warehouse, rather than from a marketplace listing or a high-street retailer? The honest answer is that it depends on what you value. If you want to put your hands on a scooter before you pay, a shop floor wins. If you want a wide choice of models, the complete warranty chain and someone who can send you the exact replacement brake lever for your model two years from now, buying here is better. This article sets out what you actually get here, with the specifics rather than the slogans.

A wide range, not the two models that fit on a shelf

Retail shelf space is finite. A shop stocks the two or three models that sell fastest and leaves the rest in the catalogue, which is a sensible decision on their part but means the model that suits you may simply not be in front of you. Marketplace listings have the same narrowing effect for a different reason: each seller carries what they can warehouse.

Ordering here removes most of that filter: this store carries 12 isinwheel e-scooters and 10 e-bikes. The electric scooter range runs from the lightweight S9 Pro (13.8 kg) and the S-Nova with suspension at both ends, through long-range commuters like the S10MAX, to off-road machines such as the D2 Plus, and on to dual-motor scooters like the GT4 Dual and the GT1 Dual. It also includes formats you will almost never find on a shop floor, such as the H7Pro with a seat.

The electric bike range is just as varied: folding commuters like the EB1S, fat-tyre and all-terrain models like the M60 and EB8, step-thru city bikes like the U4, and comfortable upright commuters like the U2.

If you have ever been told "we can order that in for you" and then waited three weeks, ordering here avoids that: orders leave our EU warehouse within 0–1 working days, and a scooter arrives 2–5 working days after dispatch. Product pages give the full specification wherever isinwheel publishes it — motor power, battery capacity, rated range, weight, tyre type, brake system — rather than a shelf-edge summary of three bullet points.

The price you see is the price you pay

Cross-border buying has a well-earned reputation for nasty surprises: a courier calling for a customs payment before they will hand over the box, or an import VAT bill that arrives a fortnight later. That does not happen here. The order ships from our EU warehouse, and the price on the product page is what you pay. This applies to deliveries within the EU; for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, import VAT and customs clearance charges may apply on delivery.

  • Delivery is free on e-scooters, e-bikes and any item from €200. Other items cost €9.90 or €14.90 to deliver, depending on the country, shown at checkout before you pay.
  • VAT is included in the price. Nothing further is collected on delivery.
  • No customs charge payable by you. There is no courier handling fee to settle at the door.
  • Dispatch is 0 to 1 working days. Orders are not sitting in a queue for a week before anything moves.

Delivery times are the same for every product type:

What you ordered Dispatch Delivery after dispatch

The full detail, including what happens if a delivery attempt is missed, is on the shipping policy page.

Every scooter arrives with a waterproof bag and gloves

Order any model from the scooter range and a waterproof handlebar bag and a pair of isinwheel protective gloves are included at no cost. You do not add them to the basket and there is no code to enter — they are packed with the scooter.

These are not decorative. The handlebar bag is where a phone, keys, a charging cable and a multi-tool live so they are not in your pockets pressing into your leg at every kerb, and it keeps them dry when the weather turns. The gloves matter more than most people expect: hands are what hit the ground first in a low-speed spill, and bare palms on tarmac is a bad trade for a few grams of kit.

This applies to scooters only. Electric bikes do not include it, and the bike product pages do not claim otherwise. The free gift page sets out exactly what is in the box.

Buy two, save 10%

Add any two items to the basket and 10% comes off the order automatically. There is no code to hunt for, no newsletter sign-up gate, and no minimum-spend threshold to calculate — the discount applies at checkout on its own, and you can see it in the basket total before you enter any payment details. The conditions are on the buy two, save 10% page.

This is genuinely useful in two situations. The first is a household buying two scooters at once, which is the common case for couples commuting to different places. The second is buying a machine plus something from the accessories range or the spare parts collection at the same time — a spare charger, a replacement motor and rim, or a front basket for a bike. That is the cheapest moment to buy the part, because the 10% comes off both items; the machine still ships free, and the delivery charge for a part under €200 (€9.90 or €14.90) is paid once.

Returns: the 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. There is no restocking fee. You pay the direct cost of returning the item. We refund no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision.

It is a legal right under EU consumer law: it does not depend on anything we offer, and it cannot be signed away. You are liable for any diminished value that results from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

A fortnight of ordinary use answers questions a specification table cannot. A 20-minute test ride in a car park tells you very little about whether a rated range is enough for your week, how the scooter handles a wet Monday, or whether you can carry it up a flight of stairs when you are already tired. Two weeks of commuting tells you all three. The conditions, including how to start a return, are on the return policy page.

Guarantee and warranty, spelled out

The two-year EU statutory guarantee applies to every order, always. Separately, a commercial warranty runs alongside it:

Cover Scooters Electric bikes
EU statutory guarantee 2 years 2 years
Commercial warranty, main unit 12 months 24 months
Commercial warranty, components 6 months 12 months

"Components" means the wearing and consumable parts rather than the frame and drivetrain. The distinction is normal across the industry and worth reading before you buy, not after something goes wrong. The warranty policy sets out what falls into each category.

This is where buying from us pays off. When the seller, the warranty holder and the parts supplier are the same organisation, a claim is one conversation. When they are three different companies, it is three — and each one can reasonably point at the other two while your scooter sits in a hallway.

Genuine parts, kept in stock

This is the quiet advantage that only shows up in year two. Genuine isinwheel parts (batteries, chargers, motors, brakes, tyres and inner tubes, lights, and electronics such as controllers and displays) are listed by model in our spare parts collection, with the models they fit named in the title. Coverage varies by model, so check that yours is listed; if it is not, email us your model and a photo of the part and we will tell you whether we can supply it. You are not searching a marketplace for a generic controller that might have the right connector, and you are not guessing whether a 48V charger is the right 48V charger.

Most of what fails on an e-scooter is predictable and cheap to stay ahead of, which is why we wrote the e-scooter maintenance checklist. Battery life in particular is far more about charging habits than about cell chemistry, and the guide to battery longevity covers what actually extends it. If you are new to riding, the safety guide is the place to start, and from box to first ride in 20 minutes covers the assembly and the one-week re-torque that almost everyone skips.

Support when you need it

Customer service answers by email, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (GMT+8), closed at weekends and on public holidays, and we reply within 24 business hours. A broken scooter usually means a broken commute, so we aim to identify the fault in the first reply rather than after three rounds of questions.

Email info@isinwheelscooter.com with your order number and the serial number from the deck or frame, and a short video of the symptom if there is one to film. A ten-second clip usually tells a technician which part has failed, which means the part can be posted to you rather than you crating up a 27 kg scooter. The after-sales service page sets out how to reach us, what happens at each stage of a claim, and what is and is not covered.

Paying for it

Checkout takes the usual cards and wallets, and the full list is on the payment methods page. Two things worth knowing before you get there: the total you see in the basket is the total charged, and the 10% two-item discount is already applied at that point rather than promised afterwards. There is no stage of this checkout where a number goes up.

What buying online does not give you

It would be a poor article that only listed advantages, so here are the honest limits.

You cannot stand on the deck before you buy. A scooter's ride quality — how much the stem flexes, how the brakes feel under your fingers, whether the handlebar height suits you — is easier to judge in person than from a specification table. The 14-day statutory right of withdrawal gives you a fortnight of real riding to judge it, but it is a workaround rather than a substitute: you pay the direct cost of sending the machine back, and that is more effort than walking out of a shop empty-handed.

You also wait for delivery rather than carrying a box home the same afternoon. Two to five working days for a scooter is quick, but it is not today. If you need a machine for a specific date, order with a few days in hand.

And a large item is a large item. Someone needs to be there when the courier arrives, and a folded scooter still weighs enough that a third-floor flat with no lift is worth thinking about in advance.

One thing to check yourself

Rules for e-scooters and e-bikes vary by country and city — please check what applies where you ride. Product pages list the motor power, top speed and weight wherever isinwheel publishes them; if a figure you need is missing, email us before you order.

Common questions

Is delivery really free?

On e-scooters, e-bikes and any item from €200, yes: there is no shipping charge at checkout anywhere we deliver. Other items cost €9.90 to Austria, Croatia, Czechia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, and €14.90 to Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.

Will I have to pay anything when the courier arrives?

No. No VAT, no customs charge and no handling fee are payable by you on delivery. This applies to deliveries within the EU; for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, import VAT and customs clearance charges may apply on delivery. The price on the product page is the whole cost.

How long will it take to arrive?

Dispatch is 0–1 working days. After that, delivery takes 2–5 working days.

Do electric bikes come with the free bag and gloves?

No. The waterproof handlebar bag and protective gloves are included with scooters only.

How does the 10% discount work?

Add any two items to the basket and 10% is taken off the order automatically at checkout. No code, no minimum spend, no sign-up.

How long do I have to change my mind?

Fourteen days from delivery, under your statutory right of withdrawal in EU consumer law. You do not have to give a reason, and there is no restocking fee.

Will I still be able to get parts in two years?

Genuine parts are listed by model in our spare parts collection, and for anything not listed you can email us your model and the part you need for a quote. Batteries, chargers, motors, controllers, displays, brake components, tyres and inner tubes can be supplied for the models we sell, and out-of-warranty repairs are quoted before any work starts.

Where to start

If you commute on paved roads and want plenty of range, look at the S10MAX (up to 60 km) or the S-Nova Pro (56–61 km), or compare all our long-range scooters. If you want the most power in the range, the GT4 Dual (2400W peak) and GT1 Dual (1600W peak) are the dual-motor options. If you want to sit down, the H7Pro comes with a seat. If you would rather pedal, the U2 is the comfortable upright city commuter, the EB3 a light (21.9 kg) hybrid for commuting and off-road, and the M60 a fat-tyre all-terrain bike for sand, gravel and snow; the bike range has the rest. Still undecided between the two formats? E-scooter or e-bike works through it by commute shape rather than by spec sheet.

Whichever you choose, the terms above are the same: free delivery on e-scooters and e-bikes from our EU warehouse, nothing to pay on arrival within the EU, a waterproof bag and gloves with every scooter, genuine spare parts listed by model, and support by email from the same team long after delivery.
